Despite the recent period being the most painful of time for my family, I have to commend all at Walker & Morrell and Connor in particular for their care and support during the most difficult of times. From our first meeting till the day itself Connor was a credit to the firm with the way he provided comfort to my grandmother and his communication and organisation throughout.

I highly recommend Walker & Morrell to help through the most difficult of times.

All the staff at Walker & Morrell helped us at a time when we felt lost, they provided a respectful and dignified funeral service for my wife. Natalie listened and acted on what we decided, along with providing advice and guidance. She guided us on the day, letting us say goodbye without worrying what's going on. When organising the funeral nothing was ever too much. All the staff are professional, friendly and very approachable. Thank you.

This is the second time using Walker & Morrell in Gateshead. Losing a loved one can be a deeply traumatic and confusing time, from the first telephone call Nicola helped guide us through what can be a minefield. She discussed with us what we wanted, sorted everything out with the Medical Examiner and got Dad to the Chapel of Rest. Nothing was a problem for these guys, they were all compassionate and understanding. The funeral was perfect and went without a hitch, the cars are beautiful, not the traditional black but thats what we wanted something different. Everyone who attended commented on how professional and courteous all the staff were. Even after the funeral Nicola and Hayley have been amazing answering any questions and helping with memorial tributes, they go above and beyond.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these guys, they offer a fantastic service with professionalism and compassion in difficult times. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

From the moment we contacted them after my dad passed away, Nichola and the whole team showed compassion, respect, and genuine humanity. They took the time to understand what we wanted for Dad and delivered everything beautifully. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they handled every detail with such dignity and respect. Their support meant the world to us, and we will forever be thankful for the way they helped us say goodbye and I can’t thank them enough for the support they gave our family.

Walker and morrell looked after my dad when he passed, Natalie was our funeral director and she was amazing she went above and beyond for us and she gave compassion and support while arranging my dads funeral they cared for my dad very well bringing us comfort and being able to visit him as much as we could. All the staff was so lovely and made a difficult and hard time a little easier.
